Gonzo has taught me that the most hopelessly impossible dogs are the dogs that will love you the most and change your life forever, for the better. The damaged dogs will give you the most satisfaction when you see them transform. They will grow and learn for you, and you'll grow and learn with them. I learned most of what I know about dogs in the 11 years I've owned Gonzo, and I probably wouldn't have a career in the dog industry if it wasn't for him. I never had an aggressive or high energy working dog before I got him, and I got two in one when I was 13! I had to learn it all or lose him.

Fozzie has taught me that kindness is your best tool in teaching. He has taught me to laugh, and have a sense of humor and fun, and that being positive spreads positivity in every aspect of your life. He taught me that dogs really are capable of knowing and understanding more than I ever thought possible. I look at him and I see an individual, not just a dog, and it's absolutely impossible for him to instill any anger in me... he just makes me happy and he has that affect on everyone he meets. I have learned how powerful positive training is with him, he has never known a harsh word or pain from any person, and you can see the trust, love and confidence he has in people in his eyes. I used to be annoyed by independent dogs, but knowing him and earning his devotion has given me an incredible respect and love for primitive breeds.
