Crunchy just means you try to keep it as natural as can be. It really varies in your area. I'm considered a pretty crunchy parent in a lot of others and then in others I don't look crunchy at all.

I definitely would not do this, not because I've read anything about it, but because I instinctively KNOW I wouldn't leave my baby crying. My Stepmom did this (because she was lazy and doesn't have maternal instincts) and my little brother has serious issues now that I feel stem from that and other poor parenting choices she made. I would wake up in the night and take care of him because I felt so bad for him, missing out in sleep while in high school.

I'll try not to overanalyze and over-research everything! I have been around lots of babies so I know the basics and how I generally want to parent, but I have a lot to learn still. Thanks for all of the advice.

Wow I just read through this thread, and I totally hijacked it.

I'm just starting to get a belly at 24 weeks. I'm not taking an under the shirt picture, I just look like I'm bloated and can't suck it in. -__-

I feel him kicking a LOT all of sudden, it's the strangest thing...

Wow you were little!!! Especially for your third, that's crazy.

My sister's belly is HUGE and she's only 7 months. She's like "are you sure you're still pregnant?" And I'm like "are you sure you aren't having her tomorrow?"

I'm 31 weeks. You'll get a belly soon enough! I got visibly pregnant with both pregnancies at 25+ weeks, but it certainly is there now for all to see. I have always taken under the shirt belly shots 'cause in the right shirt I never look pregnant. QQ
