New Camera (DSLR!!) - Trent and the Cats

After years of wishful thinking and months of searching, I finally have a DSLR! Bought a used Nikon D90 with under 2,000 shutter actuations in absolutely PRISTINE condition. Honestly not a single thing blemish or fault, and I absolutely love it. Still depending on the automatic settings, will be studying the manual closely, can't wait to finally figure it out.

But for now, I wanted to share a few shots. LOTS of things I'm doing wrong, but haven't even begun learning yet and wanted to have a bit of fun first.

Trent is happy about the new camera, too


Mostly because he gets rewarded for posing

So we take a break




Then Trent turns on the Puppy Look to the max and asks if we can head out


Of course I oblige


He's still required to pose, though

Thank you! You are also just the BEST for all the help and advice you've been giving me, thank you SO much for that. I definitely would not have made this decision so readily without your help, I'd still be hemming and hawing about every potential deal and all of the basics and never actually go through with it.

Now I am so giddy happy with this D90
