Default Is it polite to microwave fish at work?

Do you think it is polite to make fish at work? As we all know, the smell of fish travels and lingers down hallways- and the leftover fish gets thrown in the trash which makes the smell last longer.

Is it fair for your coworkers to have to deal with smelling the fish?

Poll to follow!

Cooked fish, just reheated (although it's something I've never done! I never save leftover fish)

Anyone who has the stomach for leftover fish I am not going to argue with.

I can not STAND the smell of fish....that being said, the only fish I will eat is tuna and I have in the past reheated that (casserole) at work. But that is not near as smelly as other fish things.

Voted no. Even if you work with ALL seafood lovers, reheated fish STINKS and lingers, in the break room and more importantly in the microwave! Bleck.

Now I feel queasy kthx LOL

It's not polite to bring stinky foods to work, microwave or not. I had a co-worker once stand behind me and watching me work on a graphic's project while he noisily slurped his clam chowder which smelled horrible. I nearly puked, multiple times.

I completely agree! The smell of tuna makes me nauseas as well... and clam chowder is definitely NOT work appropriate. *pukes*
