On a bed, at night, because every morning I wake to this about 5 minutes before our alarms on work days and when our alarms would be on weekends.
I really hate her lately. It will be nice to remove that crate from our room, allow for more space, and what not but more over I loathe the clanking of her body on the crate while she's pacing. These are all extremely mild because she knows I'm awake and watching. Until you acknowledge her it's much worse because she rubs on the crate sides making them clink with each step. Oh and increase the leaking (squeaking, whining). She's otherwise a very quiet dog, it took a long time to get her to bark for schutzhund but gah in the mornings she's a noisy sewer rat. Pardon Arnold, he knows I'm awake too now. LOL And yes, she's been trained she must sit and wait before I open her crate. Of course if too much time goes by she'll restart, like a snooze button on an alarm. So much hate.

Haha.. she's in her own little world over there. I thought Addie slurping on her toes in the mornings was bad, I might go a tad nuts if that was the case. She's just working on your patience? lol

I'm dizzy just watching her! This is why mine sleep in a separate room with the door closed! And I have earplugs. lol.

Classic used to be AWFUL in the mornings, except instead of just 5 minutes early, he would wake up and start his "routine" earlier and earlier each morning. He used to whine and pace each morning, but I finally got him where he wouldn't leave his bed. Instead he would just get up, turn in a circle and lay down again. Repeat about a thousand times. Finally I couldn't take it anymore, stopped feeding him breakfast in the morning (he now gets lunch and dinner) and ignored him for the first hour I was awake. That helped a TON! He would still randomly wake me up though because I'm such a light sleeper so he no longer sleeps in the bedroom.

LOL, this! I appreciate him so much more now, hahaha! I usually wake up in the most awkward position because he likes to curl up kind of in between my legs if I'm laying on my stomach, and I get like "Arghhh" (but love it at the same time) but he usually won't get up until I do and half the time he's still sleeping even when I get up, lol.
Oh Sloan... good luck with the tie out.

well, I could send you Wilson, who is like getting a teenage child out of bed--he burrows under our blankets, and hopes you won't find him. I literally have to throw the covers back and "scold" him--lol! Baxter however, hops right out of bed--neither are crated obviously.
But yeah, a belligerent teenager---want him?

Mine don't do this, but I imagine she will do the same thing on a tieout. I would just put her crate at the other end of the house - lol.

Rumor clanked her crate and made all kinds of yippy squeaky whiny noises in the morning when she was crated at night. There are so many times I considered strangling her. As annoying as she sounds, I still think Sloan is adorable.
