I love kitties...he is so cute. How do you not end up snuggling him 24/7?

I love how gentle your guys are with him.

Ya both of the dogs are very gentle with him. Cricket tried to scruff him once but she let go when I told her to leave it and now she just likes to knock him over with her nose.

Erm, I wouldn't call him Temporary if I were you It seems too leave you with an extra animal. HE is adorable though! That is my favorite kitten stage, all wobbly and playful

Ya I seriously thought I wouldn't want another cat for a long time but oh boy do they sure pull your heartstrings. We still aren't going to make any decisions for a while so as of now he is still temporary lol. Josh has completely fallen in love with him though and his entire mood has been lifted and he has been so much nicer all around just having this cat to take care of. He loves the bottle feeding and they have really been bonding. The kitten follows Josh everywhere.

His vet appointment is in an hour and the little bugger is currently passed out. Going to pick him up some more milk while we are out as well. As far as when we switch him to canned food/dry food... I've been looking at the grain free blue buffalo wilderness for kittens. Anyone know much about blue buffalo's cat food products?

Just got back from Whiskey's appointment. They still aren't absolutely positive whether he is male or female. They think he is male but he is so swollen down there that we won't know for sure until the swelling goes down.

We ran a fecal and they said it came back negative for parasites but because his belly is so bloated they gave him a tiny bit of dewormer. They also said that he has enteritis and colitis. I have to give him Metronidazole or whatever its called for the next 7 days and we have a follow up appointment next Tuesday. Going to have to keep him.separated from the dogs until he is clear and keep an eye on the dogs as well. The vet seems to think the dogs should be fine though.

Also... My little guy weighs .08 lbs

Uh-oh, he's been named

Everything happens for a reason--seems like you and this little guy both needed each other (at least for a little while)
