Default Terrarium, vivarium, aquarium

I really want to set a few of these up in the new house. I love the little self-contained terrariums that are popping up all over the place.

I love all that stuff too. I have 2 10 G, one with a Betta, danios and assassin snails, the other with cherry shrimp. I want to add some Marimo balls. For my next tank, I want to do a "sorority" of female plakat bettas. I really like rimless aquariums but I have an idle 30 G with rims that I may as well use. I'd like to get into saltwater but am not really ready.

A paludaruium would be cool too, I have this vision of one in a large shallow rimless tank, white sand, female bettas, and a island made of a driftwood and rocks, planted with mosses and maybe little mangrove trees and other plants. The island would be above the edge of the (open top) tank, inhabited by red/purple(?) devil crabs. Jumping might be an issue though.

As far as terrariums, my mom has this awesome polyglobe(?? Flat sided orb, there's a word for them) terrarium... I want a larger one for plants, maybe with rhino beetles, that would be really cool. A sensitive plant might do well in a plant only terrarium, I had a baby one and it got bugs and other issues and kicked it.

(I also want a greenhouse and a pair or trio of argus monitors to live in it, dream on lol)

I started a vivarium last year when I got my gecko. It's been fun trying to keep the plants alive as I'm not much of a green thumb.

Post pictures if you start anything up! I love them too!

Nice! I love the plakat betta idea.

Some day when we get a new place I'd love to set up some dart frog vivariums to house my orchids and other tropical specimen plants. I love pumilio, azureus, and histrionicus. Leucomelas are rad too. Not until we are able to buy an actual house though and be done with moving around.
A viv with leucomelas and azureus cohabiting would look really awesome.

I really like this setup (it's not mine, I just wish it was).

I'll definitely get pictures up if/when I get around to it. We don't move until June/July and then we have a vacation planned, so maybe late August/Sept I'll be able to get something going.
