I finally bit the bullet- have you?

We have the Samsung Galaxy tablet. I <3 it, even though it mostly gets used for displaying/looking up knitting patterns in the living room. It's freaking awesome for traveling though - when we went to Hawaii I didn't have 10 pounds of books weighing down my carry on AND I had movies/crosswords/games to entertain me. It was awesome.

I had to vote hummus and pita though because there's not an option for "Have a tablet, but not an iPad". And I don't like hummus. *sulks*

I don't have one, I have a MacBook Pro that I love but I am utterly intrigued by the iPad and think I might *need* one in the future...or some sort of tablet. We travel a TON and it might be nice to not haul my laptop, his laptop, my Nook or several books to keep me occupied. I have a Nook too so then I think, do I really *need* a tablet?

I have a Kindle Fire that I'm pretty set with, and my iphone when I'm outta wifi (though now I really want the 4s!). I see a lot of people at agility trials using them to record runs though.

Also not a huge apple fan, but not sure I want a tablet. I have a computer and a netbook. I have an ereader that isn't back lit for a reason.. and its smaller and more book sized..

I just don't really have a need that a tablet would fix.

I have a Pandigital. It's an "E-Reader" but it's basically a tablet. It is so much more of an e-reader than a Nook or Kindle since it has music options, comes in color, games, web browsing, backlight, touchscreen, email, apps, WiFi, so on. And I got mine around $100.

Better tablet would be great eventually, though. I can't decide if I want a Mac, Camera, or Tablet first. Kinda pointless to have a camera without a good system to back up all the files, though. Unless I get a point and shoot. But really, shouldn't I just wait and get a good one?

I really want one, but honestly I think I'd rather have an iphone or ipod touch that does almost the same amount of stuff for less money. But hell, I would SO not say no to an ipad. Especially for watching movies on!

I have an iMac, Macbook Pro, and an iPhone; he has an Alienware desktop, a Macbook Pro, and an Android phone. He got an iPad just because and never really used it. He doesn't have the Kindle anymore, so now he uses the iPad to read on the Metro, but other than that it doesn't see much use. I doubt I'll ever have one, but Adam likes to collect "stuff."

I don't have one, but my brother does and I steal his sometimes I have a MacBook and iPhone though, so I don't really need one very often haha

I'm with Dekka. I have no current need that would be fixed by a tablet. I actually have an older tablet PC (runs XP) and I rarely use it.
