I had Cocoa Krispes, lol.

Usually I eat oatmeal or a granola bar, but I felt like switching it up a little bit

I lied. My plan had been tea and bacon... Then I actually went to the kitchen. Bacon and tea is my usual school r work go to breakfast..

1 cup almond milk, 2 tbsp heavy cream, 1 scoop allmax mint protein powder, 50g light cream cheese, in a blender as a milkshake. Wasn't bad.

You tried the fantastic low carb pancakes from ibreathimhungry? I can't say I'm a pancake person.. Waffles fresh from a waffle maker.. *drool* there's a reason I don't own one.. but for a while her pancake recipe really did it for me. I thought about making some today...

I bought sugar free syrup to go with them of course..

Breakfast is Ryan and I's speciality It's the only meal that we can really eat together unless we plan a dinner for 10pm.

Most mornings we either have waffles and oranges, or go all out and have pancakes + bacon + eggs. This morning we had cereal though, boring!

We did try the eggs in a basket grilled cheese earlier this week, omg to die for!

I rarely eat pancakes or waffles, but when I do, it's real maple syrup and sugar all the way

I can't eat breakfast. I just have coffee. Tiny bit of sugar, and usually a slpoosh of milk, but now my boyfriend is trying to loose weight, and is going to drink a half gallon of milk a week instead of a whole gallon, so I'm drinking my coffee black.*

*this post may not be understandable. I just woke up and haven't finished my coffee.

The last time I had pancakes was the day after Xmas when my kids and my niece spent the night. I wanted to make them a special breakfast with pancakes, eggs and sausage. And yes, pure maple syrup is the only way to fly! So, that is a very occasional treat.

When I was a kid, my Dad always made the Sat. morning breakfasts. They were homemade buttermilk pancakes or waffles, which were to die for....they were so tender and thin. And he also made Dutch babies in the little cast iron pans that you put in the oven. We'd put fresh squeezed lemon and powered sugar on top. Soooo good. They are not easy to make right. And now he's gone and I doubt if we'll ever have another Dutch baby like his.

Today I just had a banana.

Lately I've been having toast for breakfast, though. Sometimes cereal. I've tried to stomach oatmeal too, but I hate the texture.

I never used to eat breakfast at all. It made me feel icky. But now, even if I don't really feel like eating, I do anyway because I do feel better for it. Even if it's not much. I don't have a lot of time in the mornings (too lazy to get up any earlier than I already do before work), so that's why my breakfasts are so plain and boring. I don't have time to make anything interesting. I'd far prefer eggs for breakfast, but they take too long to make and eat. By the time I'm done getting ready, I generally have 15 minutes to make my lunch and find something for breakfast before I leave for work. So I need to eat something within that time frame. Hence the banana as I was running out the door this morning, lol. I am so not a morning person.

That said, I don't tend to eat breakfast on my days off. I generally just wait for lunch on those days because I get up a little later.
