Please excuse me if there is already a thread for Mastiffs.
I Have a year old English Mastiff, fawn in color. Her name is Dakoda Faith of Brutus. Dakoda if a very calm and mellow dog. My girls (age 3 and 18 months) can do anything they want to to her and she just lays there. She has been like that since she was about 4 months old. She is a very smart dog and catches on really quick and is easy to train. She learns quickly. If anyone else out there has a mastiff, I would love to talk to ya more about them.

I have a Mastiff cross, her name's Bear. She's a real sweetie, and not all that active (Mastiffs generally aren't), but she does like to run and play a little bit. She isn't bothered by a lot, and likes to just let the world go by. Mastiffs are pretty passive aren't they?

Sorry I aint' been on here. The boss is just workin me to death. lol
Well dakoda is pregnant, we think, and with lab puppies. lol. We think it would be so cool to have brindle lookin labs (since she does have brindle in here). We just hope that we will be able to find the puppies all good homes. We wasn't ready to breed her yet but I basically live out in the country and didn't think nothin about it when I let her out one morning to go potty. When I got home from work there was to male dogs hanging around the place. My husband said that they had been here awhile so we think that by the look of here one got here. anyone interested in a lab/mastiff puppy. lol

So my wife ususally does the posting here...We have a bull mastif who is a adult/senior now. We picked him up at the shelter when he was a year and a half maybe 2 and he has been with our family for over six years. He is amazing he's like a nanny and a rug all in one...lol. He has been a wonderful member of our family. He's very understanding with our children especially our 18 month old. He knows what you say to him has an elvis lip and the drool is oveflowing. When he wants to play he looks like a 150lb puppy and the skin just flaps around...and his mug who couldn't love that face... he is also afraid of our new pup...it's funny

I have a 124 lb.,7 month old fila. Brutus is quite amazing for a puppy. He is so gentle with the granddaughter. Most of the time very laid back, and so affectionate.
He loves to give drooling kisses and touch us with his big ole paws.
