Btw, random and a bit OT... but do you know anything about Addiction pet foods? I noticed our pet store started carrying it. I like some of the formulas. Might wanted to try salmon, if it's not too fishy. Any idea on kibble size? (I know you get to see more, working at the store and all).

I fed Addiction cans until Fro couldn't handle vension. LOVED them.
I haven't fed their kibble (we can get it, but we don't stock it), but I think Justa may have? I will text her for you in case she doesn't see this thread. I honestly haven't heard a whole lot about them or done much research just because their foods are SOOOO expensive here, but I'd definitely be interested in a review if you try it with Jackson.

Yeah, I think it was like almost $19 for a 4lb bag... which is definitely stretching it. But I guess we'll see.

The Acana is definitely pricey too (the Singles line anyways). 5lbs and I think I paid $19. He's done really great on both, though (duck and lamb).

I should be looking for something more affordable and trustworthy because I end up feeding all 3 dogs while living part-time (Tues-Fri morn) at my dads house while in school. All under 20lbs, but gets pricey. And if I don't, the step-mom ends up buying something like Iams or Purina and Jackson begs for it, and it's just... easier for me to buy the food.

Yeah the Acana Singles are quite a bit more, I think the lamb one is like $7 more than Grasslands, and you lose half a pound. I would love to try it eventually, but right now Frodo is on Canine Caviar GF and he is doing absolutely amazingly fantastic

If you like LIDs, you should definitely look into them!

Yes. I don't like you. We're not friends.

Of course you can! Not sure if I'll have the answer, but I can sure try!

I have gotten samples of the Addiction Viva la Venison and the Salmon Bleu, and both were small-ish kibbles (about Instinct size).

I really, really like Addiction as a company, and have always heard great things about them.

I've been feeding addiction cans and dehydrated foods every so often.

I lov the company and be has never eaten anything with such gusto.
