Right now all kibble is kept in the bag, inside a large plastic bin with a lid. In the past I've transferred from that to a small rubbermaid bin for 2 week or so portions.

Cynder's food is just kept in the bag under the kitchen sink. I'd like to get a container for it, though, because keeping it in the bag bugs me as it can't close.

Chloe and Rose's food are in what I'll call trash cans, I suppose. They have a flip lid that latches on the top. You hit the button on the lid and it pops open.

I keep the ferret food in an old dog bone container. It's plastic and has a tight fitting lid, so it works really well. It also has a handle, which is nice. It can hold around 20 pounds of food, I think.

The rescue used those -- one for food and one for litter. They were fabulous when you had to clean out and refill 20 litter boxes LOL

I prefer using the bag.

I just buy small 5lb bags though.

We have plastic pet food containers that we dump the bags into. We just keep them out in the kitchen.

This. I'm not sure of the brand of the bin - it's whatever one we sell at work lol.

I dump the bags into Rubbermaid storage tubs that are up on a desk where no one can get into them!

I really love using a food container vs the bag now! But we had to get them because we get ants on and off and had to get something the ants can't get into!
