Default You know you're a chaz member when...

- .. wait..you mean regular people don't take this many picture of their dogs?

- Um. how do you NOT know what a raw diet is?!

- What's the wifi password around here? I need to talk to my people.

- Whatever guys! Chaz people would understand how exciting this is!

- As an animal science major, with the exception of chem, I barely need to attend classes. I've been learning this crap since like.. 2007.

- When you use phrases like "MOAR PICTURES NAO!!" on facebook, and people think you are crazy

- Oh this is so exciting! I can't wait to tell chaz!

- I don't want to do secret santa with my stupid work friends.. I've got chaz secret santa to focus on dammit!

- Wait.. you mean you don't have this many christmas cards with dogs on them at your house?

- *makes a joke that none of your friends think is funny* "whatever guys. my friends on the internet would've laughed

- *someone walks in on you chatting on the forum chatroom at 3 in the morning* "...there is really no way to explain what I am doing right now.. so let's just pretend this never happened. I promise I am not a sexual predator or anything"

- *chaz is down* *refresh* *refresh* *refresh* DAMMIT WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO NOW?! WORK?!

- Not getting a tattoo because you feel like Grammy would not approve

- "OH MY GOD MY PUPPY JUST SIGNALED TO GO OUTSIDE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!"
regular people: ....
chaz people: YAY!!!!! CONGRATS!! GO PUPPY!

- "He was a really nice guy.. but he is allergic to dogs and doesn't like them"
regular people: ..are you serious? Oh god! marry him! who cares?
chaz people: HE SOUNDS LIKE A DOUCHEBAG! RUN!

- *picture of my puppies paw pads*
regular people: ..... um.. cute.
chaz people: FEETS!! LOOK AT THE IDDLE PUPPY FEEDS! MOAR PICTURES!! NAO!

- "You guys.. I just brought home my new puppy"
regular people: "Oh that's nice. What's his name?"
chaz people: Oh god! USELESS WITHOUT PICS! NAME? BREED? BREEDER? What's he like?? Toy drive? DETAILS WOMAN DETAILS!!

- What do you mean regular people don't play trips/meet ups with internet people?

- So..what do you regular people do on the internet all day long exactly?

- How do you not know what a siggy is?

- random friend: "Hey, what is this site you're on called?"
me: NOTHING! YOU HAVE SEEN NOTHING! GO AWAY! **SHUN**

- "well... (insert dog's name) doesn't like him so.."
regular people: so?...
chaz people: kill him.

- When people on this site know more about you than most people that see you everyday

- When chazhound.com/forums can be typed faster than almost every other website

- When you have found more friendship, support, controversy, laughter and drama within one website than within probably all 4 years of high school

- When you click the new thread button for dog advice before you even think to call your vet or trainer lol

- When you would trust people on the internet to dog-sit for you and not people you actually know in real life lol

- When you have totally ignored the advice your parents gave you growing up and given your address, phone number, picture and money to people on the internet

ADD YOURS lol thought this would be fun

Fran! Those are FANTASTIC! So true, so funny and just flat out delightful. Good job!

I think you've covered it really well. Okay, here's one of mine I'll add.

You have a plan. You will spend one hour on Chaz. You look at the clock. It's 9:00 a.m. When you think it's been about an hour and you need to get to your other duties, you look at the clock again. It's time for dinner.

- When your "normal" friend is always surprised that you offer to go let her dog out and feed her and pet her and love her....

- When you're the one all your friends call when they need somebody to run over and let the dog out, or watch the dog while they go on vacation.

- When you're the first one all your friends think of when they need dog advice (and sometimes other animal advice).

- When all the cards people give you for every holiday have a dog on them (and sometimes a cat). Lol

- When you accidentally say "I never want to OWN any children" instead of have, or when you are at your friend's house with all the kids running around and you sit there thinking about how much easier dogs are to train, and how much better they listen.

bahahahahha LOVE IT

just yesterday I was at dinner with my bf's cousin/fam & someone how the question of... "how much money would persuade you to give up your dog" came up. Everyone looked at me like I was NUTS when I took about .000005 seconds to answer "NO WAY!" to $100,000.

I knew you all would have had the exact same answer though

THIS

I have one and I'm hoping I'm not the only one who does this!
When you accidentally signal/say commands to people or click at them to get their attention.

oops

I started clicking and whistling at my friends 2 month old baby the other day to get her attention. In the middle of a Starbucks. Yah...
