Nickname/Preferred name: Tessie Lou ()

Occupation: Registered Vet Tech. Also hold a degree in Exercise Physiology (I can be a Physiologist if I wanna). Currently a stay-at-home-mom (my fave!)

Age: low 30's. Mentally, I feel like I'm 23.

About your dog(s): They're happy little APBTs, but they are both a few French fries short of a happy meal.

Interests: I have lots! I could be a forever college student, I think. I love APBTs and their entire history. I'm an Arabian horse fanatic. I love physics. I love cardiophysiology and neurophysiology. I love knowing how the human body works, and this applies to the canine and equine bodies as well. I love American History. And I love Louisiana's culture and history.

Favorite music: Country and Zydeco. I also like some good ol' blues and jazz.

Favorite book: Not a fair question! I have too many! Black Beauty, Pride and Prejudice, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, To Kill A Mockingbird, Seabiscuit, Secretariat.......just to name a few of the ones I read at least once a year.

Favorite quote: "Do your best, and leave the rest, 'Twill all come right, some day or night." - Black Beauty by Anna Sewell

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together... there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. But the most important thing is, even if we're apart... I'll always be with you.” - A.A. Milne (Winnie the Pooh)

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.” -A.A. Milne

“If there ever comes a day when we can't be together, keep me in your heart. I'll stay there forever.” ***8213; A.A. Milne

“Some have brains, and some haven't, ... and there it is.”***8213; A.A. Milne

And last but not least:

“Good morning, Eeyore," said Pooh.
"Good morning, Pooh Bear," said Eeyore gloomily. "If it is a good morning, which I doubt," said he.
"Why, what's the matter?"
"Nothing, Pooh Bear, nothing. We can't all, and some of us don't. That's all there is to it."
"Can't all what?" said Pooh, rubbing his nose.
"Gaiety. Song-and-dance. Here we go round the mulberry bush.”
***8213; A.A. Milne

Random fact: I can understand Spanish (& some Portugese) and I can write it, but I'm not the best at speaking it.

I have an obsession with Winnie the Pooh. I think some of life's best lessons, and best quotes, come from those stories.

I'm actually a quiet and shy person and do not like big crowds. But get me upset about something I am passionate/passionately protective about, and watch out!

I love rocking out to Bon Jovi. When I was 8, I was going to marry him, ya know.

About your dog(s): Belle is a bluetick coonhound and we estimate that she is approx 7 years old. Beezer is (best guess) a greyhound pointer mix and we estimate him to be about 5 or 6
Interests: DISNEY!!!!!!
Favorite music: Country. I really like a bit of everything... if anyone ever looked at my ipod they would have me committed thinking I had multiple personalities lol.
Favorite book: Gosh I don't know. I'm the kind of person that reads a book once and then move on to the next one but I've always had a soft spot for Charlotte's Web... yes I know that's a kids book
Favorite quote: Just about any Walt Disney quote. there are so many good ones. "It's kind of fun to do the impossible"
"If you can dream it, you can do it."
"You may not realize it when it happens, but a kick in the teeth may be the best thing in the world for you."

Random fact: I am a 5 year old trapped in a 30 year old body lol. I love to play with toys, play games, play on playground equipment etc etc. That's why I like Disney so much... it's the one place I can act like a child and no one notices. In the real world I get a lot of strange looks lol

I can't find a photo of the dogs at the moment lol I need a better system for organizing all my photos
You look amazing! I did a double take when I saw your photos - congrats

This is a photo of me from yesterday morning when I realized that my hair is falling out and I wanted a photo of my hair before it changes or disappears! I really want to post a picture of Carter and I as well, but most of the ones I have of us together are taken in the hospital and that's no fun. When I have a good mommy/baby picture I'll post it too

Also it does NOT look like I've had surgery taking out part of a brain tumor... you guys may think I'm lying! LOL When I part my hair that way it covers my surgery area, I have a feeling with the hair loss I won't be able to cover it much longer. I'm also SO thankful that the surgeon didn't hack off a bunch of my hair at the surgery, he just took off a tiny bit at the incision, so I looked "normal" a little longer.

I'm not filling out all the questions, I figure I've done them each year and while it has changed quite a bit, I just don't have the energy to do it right now.

Nilly, yeah, I definitely don't believe you just had brain surgery! You look really, really good!

Ian's sister had brain surgery as a teenager, and they shaved off half of her hair. You're lucky they were able to only take off a tiny bit.

Sparks, you and Puck both look amazing after your weightloss. You look like a totally different person!

Great pictures, everyone!
