Every meal I have if it includes enough fat, I stay sated don't have a desire to munch, and also don't need to eat or snack every few hours. I can do three 'meals' a day and be fine. That wasn't the case pre low carb. I also had out of control cravings often for fast food.

Being on keto, I've cooked more than ever, have a number of meals I adore and feel so not deprived on and even have a handful of go to desserts. I miss fruit some, and will later likely also be going more paleo and would like wine again in my life at a later date in moderation.
Maybe you'd like this?

I'm going to try that recipe as soon as I can. I only have a hand blender though.

I checked some low-sugar fruits out, so we can at least eat those in moderation. Sugar free jello seems to be a favourite for people, too, for a sweet craving. Which is fine by me, jello rules.

Home, will do that long post again...

Just saying I don't like the cauliflower mash. I prefer my cauliflower to still be flower shaped lol. Lots of people do like it though.

I hear there is a great pizza crust recipe that calls for pureed cauliflower.

I'll look that up. Pizza is too good to give up.

Trying to figure out how we can still buy less meat, but have a healthy amount of protein with less carbs.

Less meat is a hard one. As meat is a good source of proteins and fats with no carbs. Fats seem to be harder to get in vs protein.

If you eat eggs you will get enough protein, and they are a source of complete protein (ie all the essential amino acids you need)

Eggs I can swing. I will increase the meat but still keep it lower, maybe. We'll see how it goes with spending overall.

There are ways to buy meat inexpensively. Often the cheaper cuts are good, just need more prep time. I bought a whole bunch of chicken thighs at costco. I fried them up, but you could bake them. They are juicy and tasty (and cheap!).

Definitely need to start buying thighs. Maybe save the breasts for fancier dishes

I'm enjoying some Astro vanilla yogurt at the moment. No fat, sugar or aspartame, 5g carbs.
I buy tons of yogurt because I love fruit smoothies, but now I just have tons of yogurt and apparently, I like it! I never used to be able to sit down and eat yogurt on its own (not sure why, although some yogurts have a grittier texture which I hate and it's that same texture that turns me off from hummus, sadly).

I put eggplant on my grocery list. NO idea if I like it, but hopefully I do.
