Much better. I forgot to post yesterday but some awesome girl found my purse in some bushes outside the mall (not far from downtown where it happened). Not only did she turn it in to security but she looked me up on FaceBook and contacted 2 mutual "friends" and had them get in touch with me to tell me where it was. When I retrieved it I found my license and all my keys. So they no longer have my address or my house key and I no longer have to replace my car key wich was going to cost hundreds b/c it is a push-button start that has a special key and it was my only key. I slept SO much better last night. I am so happy. So now all they made off with was an iPhone and $100. I sent that girl a long thank you message on FB and even offered a reward but she wouldn't accept. She said she had an awful feeling in her stomach when she found a Coach purse just in the bushes. I'm so glad she went above and beyond. Her helpfulness almost balances out what happened.

That is GREAT news. Obviously they didn't know how much they could sell a Coach purse for, lol!

Oh, that makes it so much better. What perfect timing to have come across someone who could give you back some faith in the human race, just when you really needed it. What a nice person. And I'm so happy you slept better and that you got some good news today. Yeah, lol....dummies! Didn't even know their fashion accessories!

I know! It really helped my outlook. I really appreciate everyone's concern. It makes me feel good that other people care and are outraged. I think awful people are still the minority in the world. Sometimes it's hard to realize b/c we notice negativity more than anything else but I think there really are more good people than bad. She helped me remember that as well as everyone here who cared. I am very surprised at how quickly I am getting back to feeling 'normal'.

unfortunately, i think genuinely good people are also a minority in the world. it's nice that one of those found your purse.

Well, if rotten people AND good people are in the minority, that must mean that the majority are mediocre people. I guess that'll do too....better than the majority being louses.
