I couldn't come up with a feasible way. I tried laying on my back with my legs on a desk chair and having her stall on my knees but that didn't really work. I thought for a good week on trying some other way and seriously couldn't think of anything other than this. So ya. I don't know!

Welp, here is the video. I hate/love watching these videos because it's embarrasing how inefficient of a trainer I am, it's really a miracle that Frodo can even sit but I like seeing all the things that I'm doing wrong.

This is the first non-behavior mod training we have done since starting meds. Even though the meds aren't at full capacity yet, it was awesome to have a dog that was THINKING about what he was doing instead of him going "OMG I don't know what you want *stresspant* *stresspant* *laysdown* *BARKBARKBARKBARK* Tell me what the eff you want?!??!?!!"

Also, yes Froman is a little bit more chubby than normal. With all the work we have been doing since seeing Dr. D there really isn't too many places that I can cut calories. And since he has been having pretty large fluctuations between calm, collected awesome little corgi and snarly Cujo dog that would GLADLY take a chunk out of people while he gets used to his meds, I've been trying to keep him away from any crowded environments (like hiking trails) where I can't control people. Which means less calories burned.

I have some of those lean treats (I think that's the brand) from several clients and all of my dogs love them, maybe something to look into? He looks fine to me though.

I've been working in training Bailey to jump in my arms... this is hard for her because she is super aware of her personal space lol. But we're making good progress! And this will be a very helpful trick methinks.
