I am at a point where I just want to make what i want to make, and not what other people want me to, I feel like that sounds awful but it is the truth. For now my art is a stress reliever and I want to keep it right there so I am not taking any commissions, just making what I want to make and trying to support the causes I want to participate in.
Ree I will give you a heads up . Can't wait to see your finished piece.

Smkie, those birds just better all the time!
 And folks, I've watched her burnish a piece before, I have a little bowl made in the same style as these birds and it takes time, patience and steady hand. The only coloring on these birds, aside of the mica fleck, comes from the smoke. That smooth appearance is done all by hand!I wish some of you guys could have seen the rabbits and frogs and fish she was "finding" in this big river rocks, they are amazing!
