I just got a 70-300mm lens for my Rebel, and while I'm pretty excited about that, I've also heard some pretty bad things about it, so I was looking at lenses and I found a Canon Zoom Lens EF 80-200mm 1:4.5-5.6 II for $50, just wondering what the general consensus is. I'd be getting it for action shots.

Anything that is 50 dollars will often be lacking in superior sharpness, something to keep in mind.

yeah, I'm not going to get it. LOL I'll just settle with the 75-300 (I said 70 up there, derp.) for now.
