Alasse, I said this on another forum but it bears repeating -- your tanks are absolutely gorgeous!

I dabble in planted tanks but I tend to play around to see what grows more than actually aquascape...so mine don't have the aesthetic beauty yours do...but the fish seem to like it

Here was my 90g pre-move. Had some digging Geos. so all plants were attacked to hardscape

Best plants for newcomers (i still use these quite a lot)

Java fern -hardy as anything, self propagates too, so you get new plants to scape with
Crypt Wendtii - Another self propagator, also quite hardy
Java moss - Can be invasive, but looks great if kept trimmed and tidy
Peacock moss - Looks awesome
Anubias - Various leaf shapes, slow grower and is tough as boot leather!

You'll find it hard to go wrong with any of the above. Looking forward to see your tank!
