Sore spots on backs of legs - what are these? (photo)

Our dog regularly gets matching round sore spots on the backs of both hind legs. Often they scab over, then can bleed a little if grazed. They seem quite sensitive.

Here's a photo of a fresh one on her left hind leg after a run in the park and a swim, looking a bit raw. What are they about?
