Default Breeds that match this description:

Im just more curiouse than anything as I already have my next Breeds picked out.

-Breeds that are not soft. May be a more dominate breed. Can be handler soft.

-Working breed.

-Size does not matter

-Can have DA or DR tendecies.

-Aloof with strangers

-does not matter what Breed "group" breed it's in.

-confident and sure of itself

-Have protective nature

If I think of anything else I will add it.

I have the pleasure of teaching weaves to a trio of agility rotts this week and they are just a joy to work with. The drive is there, the biddability is there, they arn't soft and they are devoted to their handlers.

I think they've won me over.

Bazinga, Zip Tie, Zuma, Taboo
Envy, Edgar, Mighty Mouse, Famous

I would go with a Rottie or a GSD for the #1 fact that you're more likely to find a good breeder.

I also think you need to go spend as much time as possible around these dogs.

A lot of breeds would fit your criteria. I guess it depends on what other traits you want/need

Oh yeah, Cattle Dog is a really good suggestion. They're a lot more feisty and hard headed too, seems like the type that you would like lol

Remember you can find dogs with in a breed that don't quite fit those descriptions. But what i can think of is.
Dalmatians(of course)
Ibizans (oddly enough for most of the criteria)
Cattle dogs.

Pretty well fit the LSG breeds IMO.

There are lots of breeds that meet these specs. I think you need to narrow down what you want the dog to do exactly a bit more.
