Trip to St. Mary's Glacier
The aspens are changing, the weather is full-on Indian summer, so of course I grabbed my camera and Sawyer went exploring. This is about an hour and some outside of Denver outside of Idaho Springs. I couldn't get super close to the actual glacier that day as I was just wearing tennis shoes and the wind had nearly knocked me over on level ground anyway, so I wasn't all that keen on doing stuff that required good balance.

I love the lake ones!
I'm going to have to make my way up to CO one of these days to do some hiking. Are these places dog friendly?

Yes they are! Colorado is overwhelmingly a dog friendly state, Denver County (which basically encompasses downtown) not withstanding.

Those were all taken with my 18-55mm f/3.5 lens. I had a few shots that I thought were interesting that I got with my 50mm f/1.8 but not neat enough to share.
