Looking for smaller sport-dog suggestions

Really? Lots of Borderjacks/Borderstaffs as height dogs in this area. 10-11 inch jumps, which is fine. We're running slow height dogs that set 10 inch jumps right now.

To be honest, I'd rather a little bit bigger height dog.

And yes, Bogart, potentially. But nobody's breeding small doodles for sport.

I see people here saying poodles do real well , what about adding a greyhound and getting a strudier faster dog?

or does it not work that away? this whole thread has be boggled really,

Blue cedar is simple to contact, same with Connie Croley and Lisa Kronz, just shoot them an email. I went through talking with each of them before I decided against my sport mix.

Honestly Elegy... a brat combo is too unproven for me but if you want to take a gamble and have some fun it may be a great choice. If I were you I'd go with what I know works and thats a border collie, borderstaffie, or even a borderjack/stack. You could find a small one, we have had two BC height dogs and they both can fly and are extremely reliable.

At this point, I'm just going to wait and get my BC pup next summer. Probably won't be a height dog (though who knows), but oh well. I love the mama, though she hasn't done much yet. She's so much saner and more thoughtful than Steve, even though she's only a couple months older. I've never met the male, but he was bred by Rocket Relay, ran 3.7s in flyball, finished his CD with a high score of 195, and produced some nice-runnin' flyball pups out of Quicksilver's Shiner.

Having two herders is fun, you won't regret it. ;-)
