You can't be as anxious as me!!! I have been mixing in 100% beef (for dogs) in with his dog food and feeding him 2-3 times/day. His stools have been looking very healthy for the past week and there is a SLIGHT difference in the meat around his midsection.

Doing the math, with me at 195, that would be like me dropping down to 165. At 6'1" I would probably be as skin and bones as he is. I can't imagine how long it would take for me to lose that much weight and it's so sad every time I think about how long and difficult it must have been for him to lose that much weight.

Assuming this is what a healthy, meaty setter looks like, I would almost say Ronin is more than 10lbs underweight.

He looks fantastic -- enough weight to support muscle now, and no bones jutting out through his coat. What a lucky, lucky boy to have found you guys...and from the look of it, you guys are lucky to have him as well
