Hi!

Well practice makes perfect.. draw, paint all the time and as time passes by you will be better and better... you always grow with art work you do..

Good luck,

Hello Katja!

Well, I love to draw, I'm not a very good painter though...My art teacher thinks I should go to university and take art, but I wanted to go to College to be A Vetrinary Assistant...I don't know, I want to do both! But I'm still in grade 11, so I have more time to think about it...I scanned a drawing of my dog if you want to take a look...I didn't do a good job of scanning though, the color was messed up on my computer so I made it too dark.

Thanks for the advice.

Hi!

Seen it before you posted it.. you have talent now you only have to improve your techniques.. that is what art school does.. they teach you techniques and everything else and you would really improve. I used to watch artists on internet like you and was impressed though I will never be able to match them..

I tryed pet art thing before but my job (webdesign) took its time (add to that a family) and there was no time for painting and drawing. Now life calmed down a little and I find more time so I am trying once more.

My advice to everyone who loves drawing and painting is not to give up but to push on, draw and paint as much as possible and if art means a lot to you than go for art school. Ofcourse don't expect to be rich from art since usually artists are dead when they work is worth something. Pet portraits ofcourse are not even close to other art in value except to the owner.

Bye, Katja
