I wont lie... the brindle definitely plays a little into me wondering... but there are so many breeds that have brindling so my thought process isn't entirely based on that. She's more than likely a mix of so many things...

Like I said, we'll never know what's in her, but it's fun to guess... ultimately she will always remain my little mystery girl haha

The guessing game is totally fun, I agree! I just giggle when people swear they have a dutch or dutch mix because it has a brindle coat, prick ears, and a pointy nose. I've seen three recently who think (swear) their dogs are apbt/dutch because of these traits.

That said... Malinois are unfortunately becoming exceedingly common and overbred in Mexico. However, the Malinois we're seeing from Mexico BYBs are very big dogs (read: huge) and very mellow (read: down right boring, sweet, no edge). It's possible she could have some Malinois in her long before the Dutch, imo, but I see a rat terrier/whippet/etc.

How's her edge? Nervous/distrusting? Aloof? Obsessive? Quick to startle? Overly aware? Easy to re-focus/maintain focus? Biddable?

I can pretty much guarantee you that she's a mutt upon mutt upon mutt. Street dogs are almost another breed entirely.

I'd say whippet mix when you are looking at places to live.

She is way too big to simply be considered a Chihuahua mix. I think a Whippet mix is more plausible. But, like you said, they won't care anyway.
