Its hair falls out!
![]() Anywho, was wondering what people suggest for reducing the amount of shedding. She's on Blue Buffalo puppy food, but once the bag is gone she'll be switched to the California Naturals grain-free that my crew are on. I got a pin head brush yesterday (recommended my Petsmart people) and will try that, dunno if I need something more? Current breed guesses are feist... or borderxjack.

Yep, those are shedding breeds.
Besy suggestion I can give you is to brush her. Honestly, tho, I'd use a Zoom Groom instead of a pin brush.

Ditto on returning the pin brush. They're worthless.
I'd simply get a curry brush, zoom groom, or a lightly furminating. (you can cut or burn the dog if you go to town.)

Maybe show stopper supplement? Not sure if it'd help with shedding... its supposed to, but I don't have any person experience with that and a short haired dog.... It's helped with Bailey, but being on better food & raw has helped her, too

Thanks guys!
I think I'll return the pin brush the next time I'm over there and get the zoom groom. They suggested that and the pin brush, and the pin brush was cheaper. LOL

Part of that shedding is probably the stress of a new environment, too.

Yeah, I experience a stress-shed last night. I was looking at her feet as she's been chewing them recently, and she still has sutures in from her dewclaw removal (they told sis they would dissolve).
She freaked a bit about being put on her back and went POOF. LOL. But now much better with those things out (they blended in with her fur).
