We miss you, Benji.
I'm finally ok enough now to write Benji a memorial.
I shall start at the beginning. You were little more than a street dog, until one day my sister spirited you away from a life of neglect and abuse to a life of luxury. We always said your song was "Beverly Hills" by Weezer because you were a "no-class beat down fool" and then you actually did go to live in "Beverly Hills." lol You were a clown.  You were adorable.  You loved the car, and I think you always secretly wished you could drive.  You liked to make friends with girl dogs (didn't care much for other boys though).  You were my mom's best friend.   Lets not forget your loud mouth!  And that you hated to be dressed up.  Didn't stop us though.

And even though you drove me crazy with your barking, especially the way you would randomly bark out the window at nothing and get Daisy started, I guess I must have loved you, because I've cried just writing this thread.
 I miss the way you'd kiss my nose, and the way you "yarblerooed" when you were excited, and and the way you loved your squeaky toys. Are you annoying God now, you stupid little dog? We thought we had more years of annoyance to look forward to.

He sure had a lot of character, huh?
 Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to draw him (twice!). I wish I could have met him in person. RIP Benji, you were an adorable little fellow. <3
