The Brothas go to Ledges!
A bit of background on Ledges: Ledges is one of Iowa's most beautiful and unique state parks, but the floods of 2008 left it in ruins. The cost and effort involved in fixing the damage seems to be far beyond what the state is capable of handling, so the park has "gone wild" - overgrown trails, deserted roads, etc.
Rocket's mom and I took the boys out for a great hike - including about a mile's worth of walking IN the stream! The boys loved it - the weather was beautiful! Jayne wasn't sure about the water at first... he thought he was going to melt!  "Are you SURE you want me to get on the marooned picnic table?"  "Okay, I guess I'm cute up here... you have a point."   He looks so much like Ilsa in this photo...   Seriously. Rocket has the market on Cute.   "Well, if one is a Doberman... one does simply walk into Mordor!"
