Happy Halloween!!!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!!
What you all doing for halloween im going trick o treating with my baby bro and i no im to old but its a laugh and im taking the dogs!!!LOL Anyway Happy halloween!!!

Happy Halloween! We actually had trick or treaters last night, and my husband and I gave out candy while Chili barked and whined every time someone came up to the door!

Have fun Milo! Enjoy it while you can because you grow up too soon and you end up being the one giving out the candy.
 Oh well, I love to see the kids dress up and dogs too...  My friend has 2 cats and bought them a pumpkin and a witch hat to wear, and we tried to put them on them, but they didn't go for it. I wanted to put a super man cape on Brady today, but i couldn't find one. He would just chew it up anyway.  I did buy him one of those bowls on a stand so he didn't have to bend over so far anymore to eat and drink. He seemed to really like it. That was his halloween present, that and ANOTHER stuffed toy I know, I can't stop buying him those things.

Too bad we don't celebrate Halloween here, because I would have loved to dress Blondie up and go trick or treating with him!

I went! Well, I didn't actually trick-or-treat because Duke was with me, but I did go for a walk while my neighbors went to all the houses. Duke was supposed to be a 'Handsome Devil', but the cuffs wouldn't stay on his legs and I couldn't find the devil horns.
Too bad his costume didn't work, he would have been quite the studly dog. Instead I tied an orange/yellow tie-dye bandana around his neck so he was somewhat Halloweeny. I guess no one takes their dogs around on Halloween, because we didn't come across any. But everybody we passed was shining flashlights on him and making remarks on his good looks.  I had fun with him tonight.

well this halloween was the absolute worst for me and especially roxy. if you read my post in the puppy forum - "did this actually help her or hurt her?" you will see that she went to the groomers just to find out why she had an itch in her ear and why it smelled horribly. well she had her ear hair plucked out and she cried so bad. i was on the edge of almost crying too because i cant stand through my baby's cries. well then after that we bought her a huge container of doggy treats. i feel so bad for her. i didnt really go trick or treating. i just went out to rollerblade arount the neighborhood because i love rollerblading. and roxy had to stay home while i was out
. well i couldnt leave roxy home crying and bored (she was with my parents though) so i went out and an hour later i came home with nothing but one pocketful of candy. thats kind of sad isnt it. and it was just that i didnt have a costume that they didnt give me candy.

crazydog - If you lived near me I would give you my whole bowl I have left. I bought this big bag of Hershey bars, Reese's cups, Whoppers, and Kit Kats and I had maybe 5 sets of trick-or-treaters. If I had known that was all I was going to have I would have been filling their bags full of candy. Oh well.

We were swamped last year and was prepared this time for the trick or treaters... but hardly any showed this year. Now we have all this candy left over to eat.
