Default 2-Day Workshop for Modifying Aggressive Dog Behavior

2-Day Workshop for Modifying Aggressive Dog Behavior
Nov. 5th & 6th in Andover, CT

(13 CEU Credits for CPDT Trainers)

Does your dog have an adverse reaction to people or other dogs? Are people afraid to enter your home? Does your dog act fiercely towards other dogs? Donít despairÖ.there is an answer to your needs. Attend Pamela Dennisonís 2-day workshop for modifying aggressive dog behavior.

Pam (www.positivedogs.com) is the author of three books: The Complete Idiot's Guide to Positive Dog Training; Bringing Light to Shadow; and How to Right a Dog Gone Wrong. Pam is a member of the APDT (Association of Pet Dog Trainers), NADOI (National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors) and the DWAA (Dog Writers Association of America).

Pam had the great fortune to rescue Shadow, a human aggressive dog. In a mere 18 months, Pam trained Shadow through purely positive methods to be calm and confident around people. Shadow also earned his Canine Good Citizen title, and he competes in Agility and Rally Obedience.

On November 5th and 6th (Saturday and Sunday from 9 to 5 both days), you will be focusing on foundation behaviors, calming signals, background information on aggression management, and will learn how to live with an aggressive dog. In addition to these classroom time discussions, you will have the opportunity to observe live working sessions of eight dog/people teams who will be concentrating on both individual and group problems.

Only positive training methods will be used! Prong collars, choke chains, head halters, yelling, jerking, etc, will not be allowed. Positive methods have been proven to be the best and safest methods for dealing with aggressive dogs!

You can expect to walk away from this workshop having learned how to set up a personalized and positive desensitization program with the exercises taught at this seminar. You will discover how to manage your dog in a positive manner and you will go home with the skills to change the lives of both you and your dog.

Cost of this workshop is $150 for both days and includes continental breakfasts and lunches. The cost for a dog/person team is $300 but space is limited. Workshop location is at the headquarters of Network, Inc in Andover Connecticut.

This workshop is being presented by Northeastern Boxer Rescue (www.BoxerRescue.com) and is open to all breeds and mixed breeds of dogs.

100% of the profits will benefit homeless dogs in our care.
