Leaving the question if he should be allowed to have another pet aside- because of course he should not- I get that he was "punished". Was he punished enough? I don't think so.
The problem that I have is that he is allowed back into a role model position, is allowed to be a shining star. This man is a sociopath. He belongs in life long therapy, not in the spot light.
I agree with all, but the part about life long therapy. Sociopaths can't be "cured." It's who/what they are. Sociopaths who do the things Vick did should be eliminated from society. It's disgusting if he is allowed other pets and it's disgusting that he is put back into the lime light.

On the role model thing, that's what the NFL is all about. Ray Lewis, Mike Vick, Ben Rothlesberger, Pac Man Jones, all have/had jobs in the National Felons League after their "incidents". Once he's out of prison, Plaxico Burress will likely sign with someone, too.

I guess it goes back to what was said earlier. It's all about the money.

Not everyone in the NFL is bad, Aaron Kampmann is a about a quality human being you'll ever find. Charles Woodson, Drew Brees, Warrick Dunn, Aaron Rodgers, and i'm sure there's a lot more I just can't think of off the top of my head. These guys have given millions in money and lots of time helping everyone from tornado victims, the poor in other countries for an entire offseason, every year, getting single mothers set up with housing, jobs and support, building homes, building wings in hospitals to service the poor, etc. There are a lot of big names and no names that give of themselves and their money to give back to a nation that has given them a lot of opportunity.

A sick person beats their heads into the ground for fun. A sick person hangs the dogs so he can get enjoyment by watching them slowly die and fight for their lives.

he doesn't deserve another dog, but I can see it happening. The SPCA will be all for it, cause they can use him to further their cause.
Just to be clear, it's not the SPCA that's sponsoring Vick, its' H$U$.

His dogs deserved another chance at life but that piece of crap should not be playing in the NFL again and living the high life as a millionaire! He should be banished from the NFL and forced to work at an animal shelter and clean kennels picking up poop for minimum wage! Makes me sick!
