I do raw.. I don't call it home made cause I don't feel like I make anything. (I just toss them animal parts lol)
That said you are fine if you want to feed what you make and premade. IME even dogs that are a bit sensitive to kibble changes do fine with switchin up raw. Esp if you feed a variety of protein sources. |

If they get constipated, add a little of the canned pumpkin to their meal. It works for that as well as the runs

I mix pre-made and prey model raw all of the time... with no issues. If Stella & Chewy's is too boney for Ophie, just add some muscle meat to her meals. It would be much cheaper to supplement the pre-made with raw meaty bones anyway. I like Stella & Chewy's most of all, too!
