Cool Emme is 50 pounds

Like the above title says Emme is almost 5 months on the 27th and she is 50 pounds.

She was 40 pounds when we brought her home at 3 1/2 months.

Holy Moly I wonder how big she is gonig to get, because right now she is a lumbering monster.

What have we gotten ourselves into?

A Bouv, lol!

She's still a dainty, petite little girl.

Kharma weighed 32 lbs. at 8 weeks old. She was never a fat puppy and was slow to put on weight, but she steadied out at 150 lbs. by the time she was about 2 1/2. I'm guessing, depending on Emme's bone structure, that she'll probably weigh out at somewhere around the heavier end of the standard for females when she's fully mature.

Our Bouv was about 80 pounds as a trim adult. He was not large for the breed.

Default Welcome to the wonderful world of xx large dogs

She's gonna be a big one! Ozzy weighed in at 60 lbs at 5 1/2 months.... he was 100 at 10 months.. they're not monsters, but they are true bred working dogs. Take a look online at the Dutch Bouviers... those are the originals. by they way, my neighbours are starting to ask me about saddles for him!

Renee, Emme is a pretty husky girl. She is no GSD puppy by no means lol. She has a nice round square butt. Perfect size to pat

I think you are right that she will be a little bigger, which is fine with me, but its taking a while for us to get used to her running around the house and laying in the middle of the floor. We stumble over her constantly. She does not understand the concept of "MOVE"

We never had a big dog that had free roam of the house, Badger just stayed at the front entrance on his bed because he hated the hard wood.
