I didn't know their ears had to be posted!

Question-So their ears don't stand up naturally?

She's adorable! Very cute.

I'm like 98% sure the ears should stand naturally. Some lines have weaker ear cartilage than others. Even in my breed a lot of 7 week old puppies don't have prick ears. Zen's ears didn't go up fully until almost 4 months, and even then weren't solid until 6 months. I know he's an ACD, but still, a prick-eared breed.

I think it's becoming more like shelties, crested breeders will post the ears, or shave ear hair or both instead of giving the ears a chance to do it on their own. Some breeders don't post/tape/use moleskin until they see a problem.

I had no idea about the ears either. You do learn something new everyday. I would have sworn I wouldn't like Crestie puppies but cute!
