My dog Molly, the one in my avatar, is 6 years old now and I've had her since she was 8 months. She was a rescue, so I have no idea what she is. She's kind of strange looking, my family says she looks more like a weasel than a dog. She has brown eyes, one ear that flops and one that doesn't, and a curly tail like a pig. She is lanky and thin and weighs about 30 pounds. Does anyone have a guess? I've been curious about her since I got her.

Maybe Husky X cattle dog? She's a tough one to pin point.

She is a funny story, I knew this horrible girl in high school who had the habit of picking up animals and dumping them off on other people because she wasn't allowed to have pets at home. She found Molly on the side of the road with her owner who was about to take her to the pound, so the girl took Molly and left her at my house, and I've had her ever since. No one wanted her because she's not very cute. I believe the lady who originally had her said she was part husky and some kind of terrier? She looks too small to be husky to me though. She exhibits hunting dog traits, she's killed a bunch of rabbits

In that first picture her face looks just like our old Swedish Vallhund, but after seeing the rest of the pictures I'm stumped! Plus Vallhunds are pretty rare and all the breeders I know are super strict, so there wouldn't be too many crosses running around.

Would anybody think I was crazy if I said Husky/JRT?
Speaking from experience, Huskie aren't always good with small animals, so that could be the Husky in her.

That looks like a Pug mix tail and the coat wouldn't be too far off either ...

How big is she? Huskies aren't really all that big, the standard says 20-23" at the shoulders and 35-60 lbs. American Kennel Club - Siberian Husky Maybe you're thinking of malamutes?
Have to agree with everyone, that she does look like a husky mix. Now that you say terrier, that makes sense. My old neighbors had two scrappy little (15-20 lb) dogs that were rat terriers mixed with husky. They looked pretty similar to your girl in build and coloration, only with wire coats and facial hair. Some terriers are smooth coated, so it's possible your girl is mixed with one. |

Everyone thinks a mutt is the result of two purebred dogs. There may be some "purebred" in there, but she is probably the result of carefully mixing the dna of several breeds of canine with the goal of creating the perfect dog.
VOILA!

Definitely husky and something else...probably shepard since that would be one of the more common breeds. The hunting rabbits is a husky thing but her coat looks shepard like. Probably 3 or 4 breeds in there.
