This is exactly why we don't even offer Comfortis at the clinic I work at. Since it is a long-acting drug, it's possible that any side effects the dog has can last the full month, too. With a topical product you can always wash it off. Any topical flea control, including Frontline, can be washed off with anti-seborrhea shampoo at any time.
