They sure are.
And now that my puppy is grown and mature, I forget how nice they can be. They're still wonderful when I having a party with lots of food around, and he's getting underfoot. He loves to be where the action is if there's food involved. A frozen kong will give him something to do and keep him out of the way and happy, even as a grown-up!
