You know how you get rid of ringworm? Athlete's foot creme and Vitamin E oil. NOT A FSCKING NEEDLE.

Ringworm IS extremely difficult to control in a kennel environment, because it's so contagious. And I think it's especially offensive because it's contagious to humans.

But, what a lot of kennels may not know is that ringworm is EVERYWHERE. It is a fungus that lives in grass and dirt until it finds a host. The best way to prevent ringworm is to have healthy, groomed dogs whose immune systems fight it off. But the lack of healthy, groomed dogs is why ringworm can infect so many dogs in a kennel.

And, at the same time, euthing dogs with ringworm is still not going to solve their problem, since it lives in grass and dirt.
