Default Continuous shooting with my Canon PowerShot S3?

How do I go abouts getting into continuous shooting? I've figured out a lot with my little (not so little, really) point and shoot, but I can't seen to figure this out... Or maybe it's right under my nose?

Help?

It's in the manual. I have that camera and have used continuous before. I can't remember exactly, but I promise I found it in the manual.

If you can't find yours, I will try to look it up for you tomorrow.

I know where the button is, but I just can't seem to get it to work... maybe I'm thinking it's something other then what it actually is? What I'm LOOKING for is when I hold the shutter button down it snaps pictures over and over and over until I take my finger off of it. That is continuous shooting, right?

Yeah it does, but that camera is pretty slow.

In regular CS mode it does 1.5 pictures/sec. In High Speed CS mode it does 2.3/sec.

If you have a low quality memory card this can make it slower.

Your camera also have to be on either TV, AV, M, Portrait, Landscape, High Speed, or Night time modes. So it won't work if you have it on Auto.

It just says hold down the CS button until you see the CS symbol show up in the viewfinder. Then just hold down the shutter button.

I recently purchased the Nikon D5000 and was going to sell my Canon S3IS until I came across information regarding a program which is installed on the memory card and allows you to shoot in raw and over ride many of the features of the camera. It' pretty interesting and I have yet to try it. Thought those with powershot cameras might be interested. Info at: CHDK firmware usage/AllBest - CHDK Wiki
