Default Multible sires possible?

Is it possible for 1 litter to have more than one sire?

The bitch is a GSD "purebred" (this is AK after all) the sires could be a Great Dan, and Aussie Shepherd, or a Rottie. I only saw my neighbors pup so I cant say for the whole litter.

Is it possible for more than 1 sire for a litter? This is for my own curriosity only.

yes, it is possible.

registries even have multiple-sire policies now:

The individual puppies in the litter could have different sires, but one puppy can't have two different sires. This is why a lot of people breed a bitch 3 days in a row, they have a better chance of having a larger litter or the breeding taking because she can concieve each day.

Agree...that's why the pups were either black or blond... no bi-coloration.
