Argentine Dogos are pretty rare here in the States. They turn into beautiful dogs . . . somewhat larger than a Pit. There is some good info on them at www.molosserdogs.com

They are fabulous dogs but deffinately need an owner who knows what they're doing! Not good for the first time owner at all or the "too soft" owner who lets their dogs get away with stuff because they look so cute.

Default Dogos

Dogos have been banned from certain countries, they are known to be aggressive.

They are NOT aggressive. They are defensive - as any good guardian should be. Sheesh. And fortunately, they are still relatively rare and don't have the problems with flakey breeders and flakier owners like so many of the popular breeds.
