Cane Corso
Does anyone have any experiance with the Cane Corso. I find them to be very beautiful powerful looking breed. I have never met one myself so I wanted to know how they are like from people who have had experiance with them.

I used to work at a kennel and we had one that came in very often for day care and boarding. At first she was shy/reserved in general but her owners put her in training and she really started coming out of her shell. She was great with the other daycare dogs. Her owners said she had to have long walks daily or she went nuts but she always seemed calm to me. None of the pulling on the leash, jumping up, etc behavior that many dogs would have when coming in. Now she would start pulling to come in once she put two and two together that coming to the kennel was fun time, but that isn't the same as having no leash manners.
She was smaller than a lab. I really enjoyed her, one of my favorite clients by far.

Big, stubborn, watch out once they know their own strength... that being said they are also clownish, sweet, and terribly devoted
 my friend has one he's trying to rehome and she is a wonderful dog.

i think there GORGEOUS and its a breed im very interested in...
biggest concern for me is dog agression, they also need an experienced, FIRM, but kind hand.

 One of the Cane corsos (not this one.. but even this one was being walked down the road vs around the trial site at a LHW show) at a LC event dragged its owner over and bit one of the LHW in the neck narrowly missing the jugular (Hubby was running the lure and it happened right there.. he was the first person to see the blood so to speak) One bite nearly ended a dog's life. Now I really like the breed. But they are big powerful dogs with a fair amount of drive.
