Default 4Health Dog Food

Mer said that she thought TSC was changing out dog foods, so I was hesitant to go in today for food since we've had such a hard time finding a decent food that's not too expensive. I was pleasently suprised to see a dog food called "4Health" there. I looked at the ingredients and I'm really happy! Less grains, and more protien and fat! And still the same price. Woot!

The one we got was the performance formula:

Chicken, Chicken Meal, Ground Rice, Cracked Pearled Barley, Chicken Fat (Preserved with Mixed Tocopherols), Egg Product, Beet Pulp, Flaxseed, Natural Chicken Flavor, Fish Meal, Potassium Chloride, Salt, Choline Chloride, Dried Chicory Root, Glucosamine Hydrochloride, Chondroitin Sulfate, Vitamin E Supplement, Iron Proteinate, Zinc Proteinate, Yucca Schidigera Extract, Copper Proteinate, Ferrous Sulfate, Zinc Sulfate, Copper Sulfate, Potassium Iodide, Thiamine Mononitrate, Manganese Proteinate, Manganous Oxide, Ascorbic Acid, Vitamin A Supplement, Biotin, Calcium Pantothenate, Manganese Sulfate, Sodium Selenite, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Riboflavin, Vitamin D Supplement, Folic Acid.

Guaranteed Analysis:

Crude Protein 30.0% (min.)
Crude Fat 20.0% (min.)
Omega?6 Fatty Acids 3.3% (min.)
Omega?3 Fatty Acids 0.5% (min.)
Moisture 10.0% (max.)
Crude Fiber 3.0% (max.)
Glucosamine hydrochloride 600 mg/kg (min.)
Chondroitin sulfate 200 mg/kg (min.)
Zinc 150 mg/kg (min.)
Selenium 0.4 mg/kg (min.)
Vitamin E 150 IU/kg (min.)

I haven't yet found out who makes it, but I'm going to be emailed TSC for more info, since I can't find a 4Health website.

I've seen this food too.. at TSC. I'm curious about it as well. I got a flyer at TSC back in Dec. about this food coming in Jan. I saw it when I was there a couple weeks ago.

I haven't been able to find much about it either, but I am curious about what other people have to say..

I did a quick Google search and all the reviews it got on other dog boards were positive.

Emailed TSC, but haven't heard back yet.

Another one you might want to check out, Lizmo, is Healthwise. It's made by Natura (who also makes California Natural, EVO, Innova, and Karma), so you know it's a reputable company with good practices. We sell it at work, and always recommend it to people who want to feed a good food but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it.

They have a Chicken/Oatmeal and a Lamb/Oatmeal formula for adult dogs, a Chicken/Rice formula for puppies, and a Chicken/Rice formula for cats.
