Nickname/Preferred name: Snark, Hey You!, Good Twin

Occupation: Graphic artist

Age: Old enough

about your dog(s): Abbey Road: 12 yr. old Alaskan Brown Bear/Basset mix - found on a highway. She's very opinionated; Murphy Himself: 6 yr. old mix breed, has some GSD in him - sweet boy, very laid-back, puts up with Riley, likes to sit and contemplate; Michaleen (Mick): Murphy's brother, he's a bit more volatile than Murphy but he's also the one who comes back to check on me during off leash walks if I lag too far behind; Riley: 5 month old who-knows-what-kind-of-mix - he's reminding me why I haven't gotten a puppy in years (soooooo busy!) and all of the fun of having one.

Interests: Dogs, horses, photography, fencing, used to draw but can't hold pencils anymore.

Favorite music: Like a little of everything - rock, easy listening, classical, big band, jazz, folk, country...

Favorite book: To Kill a Mockingbird but I also like anything by Rita Mae Brown or Susan Conant

Favorite quote: If you're walking on thin ice, you might as well dance.

Nickname/Preferred name: Justine. Not Justin, Jessica, or Christine. It's Justine.

Occupation: College Student, majoring in Business Management

Age: 21

about your dog(s): Miss Molly, a 1 year old who-knows-what-kind-of-mix (looks kind of like a black lab/spaniel to me). Good at fetching, swimming, and licking your face. Bad at keeping all 4 paws on the ground. Hailey Buttons, a 2 year old boxer/pitbull mix (supposedly. I have serious doubts). Good at being an alarm dog, cleaning up anything that falls on the floor, and snuggling. Bad at meeting new dogs.

Interests: Animals, cooking, camping, hiking, swimming, fishing, vegetable gardening, hobby farming, anything to do with my hubby

Favorite music: I like a wide range: country, classic rock, new age, pop/top 40, some hip-hop. I'm not much of a hard rock or rap fan.

Favorite book: Hmmmm... I haven't read much lately. I used to be a huge reader when I was younger, but I don't read much nowadays (unless you consider perusing People magazine every week to be reading )

Favorite quote: My favorite changes often. My current favorite is by Mother Teresa - "God doesn't require us to succeed; he only requires that you try."

Here are a couple pictures of me, taken on our recent vacation to Florida in December:

Once our eyes are opened,
we can't pretend we don't know what to do.
God, who weighs our hearts and keeps our souls,
knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act.

About your dog: Middie - also known as "Stupid," "NO, MIDDIE," and "**** for brains." He's an ESS/Pointer/possible Labrador mix with questionable manners who loves me unconditionally, and I feel the same way.

Middie (not me, although both my feet are in the picture)

A goofy self-portrait I took the other day before re-painting my bathroom. That's the face I make when I haven't looked in the mirror all day and see my reflection.

A slightly less goofy portrait.
