One reason I chose Luna was because she wouldn't need much grooming.

I bathe her whenever we're going to do a demo, or whenever she rolls in cat poop outside.... usually about once every 1-2 months. I think I managed to go 4 months this winter. When she used to come to work with me every day, I'd bathe her more often , 1-2 weeks, because she'd be stinky more often; I think maybe from people petting her, I don't know.

I almost never clean her ears, I think I've done it about 3 times in the past 5 years. But I check them every few weeks, and when I give her a bath, just to make sure they're clean.

I'm very bad about doing her nails, but ATM I'm trying to shave her quicks back a bit so I'm dremmeling them twice a week. Generally I try to do them every 1-2 weeks.

My dogs at work get a lot more grooming, as it's much more important that we make sure they are clean and healthy. They get brushed usually 3-5 times a week - ALL dogs, even the short-haired ones - and get ears, nails, and teeth done every week. Most get baths about once a month, but that depends more on whether they go to foster homes or not; baths are low priority since brushing generally keeps them pretty clean.

I probably spend about 2 hours per week grooming my 2 poodles (including a weekly bath), then the dog groomer does her magic every 5 weeks.

One of my poodles has much tighter curls than the other which gets matted far more easily, and she takes twice as long to brush out.

Plus, they both hate having their feet brushed, so all the squirming and hiding of feet behind faces draws the whole process out.

Still, there's little else lovelier than cuddling two cute, super soft, freshly washed and brushed, sweet-smelling dogs.
A huge fan of homemade dog food recipes to keep my dogs ultra healthy.

My maltese has a long coat and although she just stays indoors most of the time, I bathe her once a week. Her hair gets brushed after it has dried and maybe I'll brush again w/in the week if it is needed. Ears are cleaned one a week too, right after the bath. Nails are clipped once every 2-3 months.

Chloe requires VERY little grooming. I give her a bath once every 2 weeks or so, and I don't clip her nails as often as I should because she's petrified of the clippers, and the dremel, and I think I'm going to have to start getting it professionally done because I'm just too scared to hurt her!
Don't fear tomorrow.

Nails x 4 = 20 minutes a week
Doberman Shaving x 2 = 15 minutes every few weeks
Doberman Baths x 2 = 20 minutes a month
Corgi Trimming = 10 minutes a week
Corgi Baths x2 = 30 minutes a week
Corgi Blowouts x2 = 30 minutes a week
Corgi Combing x2= 70 minutes a week (3-5 min combing, per corgi, once a day)

**** keep in mind, I keep Revy in near-show condition. Most corgis aren't as clean/blown out/combed out as she is. And I do the same to Ada because her coat is the type that SHEDS like a mofo!

Morado Dobermans... and Talla the Mexidog too! (group photo pending)

I usually brush them out 2-3 times a month which takes maybe 2 minutes. Once a month (sometimes more if they've played in the mud a lot) I spend time loading them into the tub and washing them. Then I spend about 40 minutes doing some trimming and such of their feet. That's about it.

I really skimp on the grooming here, lol. It's less than an hour for both all month. I should try to be better about it.
Most people don't believe me when I tell them because Paps have such long hair!

I brush once a week (sometimes more if she's sticky from dogs chewing on her). Fringes get brushed every 2-3 days and feet get trimmed every 1-2 months as well as potty areas. Bathing is done once every 4-6 weeks in the winter, 3-4 weeks in the summer.

I basically call Nia my no-grooming-required dog
