Lilly is my low groom girl. I brush her when I brush Trav because she throws herself at you. She gets a bath once every two weeks.

Travis, he gets a bath once a week. He stinks of pee if I don't. I brush him twice a week.

Scirocco gets a bath every 6 mths less if he stinks. Nails are done as needed and when I see my mom. (shes the only one he doesnt screech for)

Walker gets a bath every 3 mths or so and maybe brushed once a month if we feel like it (he doesnt care either way and if hes not shedding he doesnt get it really) and nails is on a as needed basis.

so not even monthly here.

I go through phases... I'll brush Boo every day for a few days and then I'll let it go for a few weeks. But on average, she probably gets a good brushing at least every two weeks. This keeps her mat free and gets rid of a portion of the boatload that she sheds!

Baths on the other hand... I'd say usually one or two a year.

Nails... I don't do the back, they seem to keep themselves filed down enough. The front ones get done whenever I have time and motivation. We use a dremel - Boo's okay with it, but definitely doesn't like it, so I use a lot of reinforcement and usually only get two nails or so done in one sitting.

~ Oh, I sooo LOVE grooming my
pair of Sheltie sisters..... and they love being groomed!

.....

~ Every day, they are treated to.....

> thorough combing with a gentle squiggly long-tooth comb
> their ears cleaned with gentle witch hazel + aloe cleanser
> their teeth brushed with their flavor choice of ~
beef or chicken or mint or vanilla or peanut butter toothpaste.

~ And the first weekend of every month.....

> a bath with gentle oatmeal shampoo
> their nails trimmed + filed with a gentle 'Dremel' tool

Not a lot of time, but Anna does need to be brushed daily. Other than that, just ear cleaning/plucking, nails, teeth, and none of those are time consuming.

Depends. If one needs to be pulled down to undercoat that can take anywhere between 1-2 hrs. If they are already in show coat, it can take 1-1.5hrs to trim (weekly). Pets are clippered, half an hour every 4-8weeks, sometimes longer since I trim them very short to begin with.

I do weekly baths, and at the same time I do nails, teeth, ears. This only takes about a half hr. Right now I am doing cold water rinses daily on my 10 month old puppy's jacket, that takes all of 15min to rinse/dry.

Not a whole lot, just because I keep Jackson's hair pretty short. I brush him maybe twice a week (mainly tail and face). He gets bathed once a week typically but sometimes it's once every other week. Teeth brushing we are working on... right now it's once a week pretty much. Nails are cut every month-ish (I hold off as long as possible, he's terrible when it comes to nail cutting, absolutely horrible).

Not too much, a brush out once to twice a week is usually enough. And a bath every 1 or 2 weeks

hardly any. i do nails on all three dogs every 2-3 weeks. i brush steve's pants and tail maybe once a month. he's pretty wash-n-wear and the bullies are nekkid. i really couldn't tell you the last time i bathed any of them just to bathe them (steve got bathed a couple times late winter/early spring due to his fondness for mud).
