Default I fricking Love this dog

This may turn into A mushy thread.. Its a pretty pointless thread really but in all fairness, Im PMSing and I am super emotional.. lol.

I LOVE this dog. Seriously.. She is literally my whole entire life..

I love everything about her. Especially when she gets into a Cuddly mood and Licks my face, Almost frantically...I love how her little Nub of a tail wags a mile a minute when I come home.. I love how even if im mad at her she will come running to the rescue, ready to look out for her momma when I am upset.. I love how she becomes a neck warmer when I go to bed (Seriously, Ive never seen a dog cuddle so close before.. Her head rests on my neck) And when she takes her spot in bed, it would take a fork lift to remove her from that spot, Unless of course, *I* ask her to move... I love the 'looks' she gives me from the corner of her eye, I love how she looks out for me, and is ready to protect me from anything, and anybody, weather it be a loud gust of wind or a stranger walking past me. (Ok, so if i were really in danger, she wouldnt be of much help, unless she severed a main artery in the intruders ankle, but shh, dont tell her that)..

I love how full of life she is, and how much energy she has.. How it is SO simple to make her happy.

This will sound funny, but i LOVE how she loves cats and kittens and bunnies.. She mothers them and she's only a baby herself.
Most of all I love how she loves me.. No matter what.. especially when I feel that nobody else in the world cares if im here or not.

So, a close friend of mine died tonight.
A neighborhood Dog named Kass, who has been around since I have been around. A dog that I grew up with and loved like my own. A dog that played redrover with us kids and chased us and watched out for us.

And i cant stop thinking, What if..

What if something were to happen to keely?
What in Dawgs name would I do? Im torn up enough over the loss of kass.. I dont think i would survive.. even the thoughts are enough to drive me mad..

(((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))) Jess. I know how you feel, I find myself asking "what if" way too much. It does nothing but make me more depressed...

Somehow you'll manage . I never thought I could when your age but as years moved on and I lost my loves and heart dogs , memories and new loves entered my heart . I've lost so many special dogs in my 76 years and all were painful . I just thank God that I've had so much love in my life .

I think about it all the time. My Izzie is my heart dog and when we're doing some training i do get frustrated (i swear some days she has doggy ADHD) sometimes and she probably knows it and after we're done a session the way she comes up to me and snuggles her whole self up to me and gives me kisses makes me forget how much of a pain in the ass she can be. Don't get me wrong, my other two are definitely lovely dogs but they're not mine; we don't have the same bond, but i do still love them.

I've also gone through alot of hard times lately with deaths in the family, bad grades, stress, and a very close friend's ongoing battle with cancer, not to mention the loss of all but about 3 of my old friends. Some days it's just so hard and i think how convenient it would be to be gone, but then i think about Izzie. How i couldn't bear to leave her because i know her leaving me would devastate me and since our bond is so strong (to the point she won't play with ANYONE when i leave and just sit by the back door and watch it) i think she'd be just as devastated if i was suddenly gone too.

We're all here for the same reason, our pups, and i bet you all of us have thought about it the same way. I'm about to curl up with my three in my nice warm bed and watch some blu-rays, my choice way of spending new years. Just me and my Puglets!

That was one of the sweetest, most loving tributes to a dog I have ever read. You hit on all the right reasons we love our dogs. How lucky your little Yorkie is to have you and of course you have found the greatest dog in the world...right?...

I know how much you and Keely love eachother, Jessica! You've done so much for her. Since she's been with you, she's overcome many of her fears, and formed special trust with you, as well as a very special and inseperable bond that will never fade.

My worst fear came true. I lost my heart dog last year, a black and white APBT named Curve. She was my dream dog, my baby. I still cry nearly every day over it. She was my babygirl. I'll never stop missing her.

I loved my Sadie like crazy....we had her for 13 wonderful years and had to say goodbye to her in April. Our hearts broke into a gazillion pieces and I didn't think I could love another furry face besides hers.

Then we adopted Stella in June. She brings us such joy and makes us laugh so much! When Sadie was alive I couldn't imagine loving another pup....but Stella won me over from the first time I saw her cute little face.

I think Sadie would be happy that Stella found us and that we have another dog to love!
