Jackson, my new little brother! (my parents' new dog)
My parents lost their Kelpie mix a few months ago at 13 years to cancer. They decided that they were ready for a new dog, so in comes Jackson!
He was adopted from rescue on 12-12-09. The first two pictures were taken by a photographer that works with the rescue. He was listed as a BC/Kelpie cross, which I suppose seems reasonable to me. I just had to share some pictures because he is so cute and unique looking.   Meeting him at the shelter...   And, settled in at home

They trust him too much, and were complacent after years of a well trained older dog. I just had this picture sent to me...

What a beautiful boy! I
 at the destruction photo too! Oh boy!!I can definitely sympathize with "having a well behaved dog for years and then starting over" LOL........Oh man, when we added Orson to the house, we were definitely in SHOCK for a few days
